Protests in Baltimore as Freddie Gray death hearing begins
Baltimore police have broken up a protest that blocked a busy city street, as the first pre-trial hearing of six officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray got underway.
Kwame Rose, a community activist, was reportedly hit by a car during the protesters' blockade of Pratt Street. Police have forced the protesters off the road, and Rose has been arrested, handcuffed and moved to a police van. Read more.
