Three Killed While Fighting Washington State Wildfires

Three firefighters were killed and four more were injured in Washington State on Wednesday night, officials said, as wildfires forced thousands of people to evacuate two towns in the state’s rural interior.

The firefighters were killed near the town of Twisp, where the advancing fire forced residents to evacuate, Gov. Jay Inslee said in a statement.  Read more.
