NYPD: 9 shot at Brooklyn house party

USA Today - Gunfire broke out at a backyard party in Brooklyn overnight, injuring nine people, police said.

Sgt. Daniel Doody of the New York Police Department said the shooting happened at about 2:15 a.m. Sunday in the East New York section after an argument. Nine people were taken to hospitals with gunshot wounds, but all their injuries are not life-threatening. Doody said four others were taken to hospitals with cuts and bruises from the melee.  Read more.
