Church of England votes to allow women bishops

Daily Mail - Women will be allowed to become bishops in the Church of England, after a historic vote in York today.

The General Synod, the Church's governing body, agreed overwhelmingly to scrap the 'incomprehensible’ ban after a plea from the Archbishop of Canterbury yesterday.  Read more.
