Trump’s dystopian budget is going nowhere

There are three letters that best describe a presidential budget plan: D.O.A.

Presidents go through the motions of putting together a budget for the upcoming fiscal year. They give it snappy titles like “America First: A Budget Blueprint to Make America Great Again.” They send it to Congress with great fanfare — and then, generally speaking, it gets discarded and Congress writes its own plan.  Read more.
