One white male juror stands in the way of justice in the police killing of Walter Scott
In the next few days, and maybe as early as Monday, we are going to find out, in the case of the shooting death of Walter Scott, a black man running away from a white cop, if murder is still against the law in South Carolina.
This isn't about all police officers in this country being on trial the way Officer Michael Slager is. This is about Slager being on trial, for a terrible and ultimately tragic few minutes on April, 4, 2015, in North Charleston, when Scott eventually got the death penalty for a broken taillight.
