D'Army Bailey, Civil Rights Leader and Renaissance Man, Dies at 73

Nadia Prupis @ Common Dreams - D'Army Bailey, a civil rights activist, judge, author, and actor who founded the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, Tennessee, died on Sunday. He was 73.

His wife, Adrienne Bailey, said her husband passed away after a long illness, surrounded by family at Methodist hospital in Memphis.  Read more.
