Widespread Detroit power outage; Schools, hospitals, traffic lights, many buildings affected
WXYZ Detroit - A widespread power outage is affecting downtown Detroit.
All Detroit Public Schools have dismissed early. The City County Building, Frank Murphy Hall of Justice, Joe Louis Arena, City Airport and additional courthouses were affected. Power is slowly starting to come back on in some of the buildings. 7 Action News has learned that 1/3 of the power has been restored. Read more.
