Audi gets first permit to test self-driving cars on California roads

LA Times - Audi is officially the first automaker to get a permit from the state of California to test self-driving cars on public roads.

At the same time, the California Department of Motor Vehicles has made official its new regulations regarding how manufacturers can test those so-called autonomous vehicles.  Read more.
