Feds recognize same-sex marriages in Utah

Salt Lake Tribune - The federal government will recognize same-sex marriages in Utah that took place before the U.S. Supreme Court granted the state’s request for a stay.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder announced the decision a day after the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) urged him to ensure that those couples would be eligible for federal benefits.  Read more.
